Breast Augmentation Surgery in the Age of COVID-19
The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way people live without a doubt. People are more thoughtful about what they do and where they go. Since the beginning of the pandemic, many people have opted to skip routine doctors appointments for fear that they will catch the virus. Here at Houston Surgery and Cosmetic Plastic Surgery Center, our team of medical professionals is sensitive to the concerns and the apprehension patients have regarding having breast augmentation houston during the course of the COVID-19 pandemic. We want to ensure our patients that we have taken extra precautions to ensure the safety of the patients we serve.
New Rules and Guidelines
Patients can have full faith and confidence in the new rules the Texas Medical Board have instituted to keep patients safe. Here in our office, we strictly adhere to these rules whether we are performing breast augmentation Houston or any other type of procedure. One of the new rules we have implemented in our office is the requirement of masks by both our staff and the patient. Out team members also wear face shields as an extra precaution during surgical procedures.
Because we want to ensure all surgical procedures are as safe as they can be for our team members and our patients, we screen or verify that our patients have been screened for any signs or symptoms of COVID-19 before we proceed with any surgical procedure. In addition, the Texas Medical Board has required that we post a notice of the safety requirements in our office. This affords patients the opportunity to not only see what the state requires, but gives them the knowledge they need to hold us all accountable.
Confidence and Comfort
Our goal here in our facility is to make each of our patients feel comfortable and confident in the fact that we will deliver the same level of service and care in the safest environment possible. We have also instituted several changes in the way we clean and sanitize our facility. Our cleaning and disinfecting process was created to go even over and beyond CDC guidelines, and what the state requires.
We Are Here For You
We want our regular patients, and those who are near to our facility to know that we are committed to delivering the quality of care we have a reputation of delivering. We also want people to know that their health and safety is always the number one priority for our team.
